Bus Stop along Scotts Road in front of Newton Station Exit B Temporarily Skipped

From 8 January 2023, bus stop 40189 along Scotts Road is closed for upgrading works. Use the alternate stop 200 metres away, in front of the Environment Building (40179).

We wish to inform that from Sunday, 8 January 2023, the bus stop along Scotts Road, in front of Newton Station Exit B (40189) will be temporarily closed due to upgrading works.

As a result, four SBS Transit bus services - 5, 54, 124 and 162/162M - will not be calling at this bus stop.

The upgrading works are targeted to be completed in the second quarter of 2023.

Residents taking these services can board or alight at the next bus stop 200 metres down the road, in front of the Environment Building (40179).

This bus stop is linked to the Newton MRT Station via a covered linkway.
