Thomson East Couse line bus optimisation

Find out about bus service changes taking effect on 10 December 2023, including the discontinuation of Service 167 and route changes to Services 75, 121, and 162.

The Thomson-East Couse line bus optimisation plans to shorten Services 75, 162/M, discontinue Service 167 and amend Service 121 will be implemented on Sunday, 10 December 2023:

  1. Service 167 will be discontinued.

  2. Service 162 will be shortened with the retention of the sector between Yio Chu Kang Bus Interchange to the bus stop in front of Sin Ming Estate, before making a loop within Sin Ming neighbourhood to turnaround and return to Yio Chu Kang Bus Interchange.

  3. Service 75 will be shortened with the retention of the sector between Gali Batu and Outram Road (Furama Riverfront) and amended to terminate at Bukit Merah Bus Interchange. To cover the unique connectivity provided by Service 75 between Outram Road and Cantonment Road, Service 121 will be amended to operate out of Shenton Way Bus Terminal, instead of the current Bukit Merah Bus Interchange.
